The RaceQuip Euro Carbon-L SFI-5 Racing Shoe has all the features you'd expect to find in a shoe costing much more. This lightweight, flexible design incorporates durable construction features, such as a reinforced lace, toe, and heel area, as well as double-stitched seams. The high-traction molded flexible rubber sole extends up the back of the shoe to provide extra support for your heel while driving. The design also incorporates RaceQuip's unique Achilles flex opening in the back to allow easy foot extension. RaceQuip has added Carbon-L wear pads on both sides of the toe for added protection and durability in the high-heat/high-wear areas. These race driving shoes feature a soft suede leather outer layer with contrasting stitching and European styling, giving the shoe a unique look. The liner is constructed of flame-retardant Pyrovatex® and includes additional padding at the ankles. The internal arch support, not commonly found in many motorsports shoes, greatly enhances comfort during extended wear. Weighing approximately 30% less than comparable auto racing shoes, this design seamlessly combines lightweight, durability, comfort, and pedal feel. It exceeds the SFI 3.3A/5 rating and is available in black, in men's sizes ranging from 1 to 20.
